UCSB Coastal and Sedimentology Research
Picture
The sedimentology research group at UCSB studies a wide range of coastal processes using a variety of field and laboratory techniques. Ongoing projects include the evolution of marshes in Southern California, past inundation events in Southern California, hyperpycnal fans in the Santa Barbara Channel, and shoreline responses to large sediment pulses near deltas. We primarily focus on coastal systems and Quaternary geology.

We are always looking for motivated graduate students to join our group!
